Originally an Italian cookie first introduced in 1533, the macaron has evolved over the centuries into its signature sandwich form known today- two delicate almond meringue shells filled with pairings of chocolate ganache and a variety of flavorings. With equal parts style, flair and genuine love for our Hawaiian home, Cake Works has introduced the finest island-sourced ingredients and flavors such as Hawaiian Salt, local Lilikoi puree and Kona coffee into its recipe for the traditional European delicacy.

Our bakery currently boasts the leading edge on macaron output on Oahu, being able to process 1200 French macarons a day at current production. With this ability combined with the signature quality of our French Macarons, we have grown to source these sweet treats to several coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and major retailers throughout the island.
